SUMMARY:Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:This year’s WCLRA Annual Meeting will be held at Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary immediately after the Cakes at the Lake event sponsored by the Long Lake Protection Association and hosted by Hunt Hill.  Pancakes will be served from 8:00 to 9:45\, followed by an inspiring Wild Rice presentation by retired UW-Extension Educator John Haack.  Cost for breakfast is $7 for adults\, $3 for children 5-12\, and free for children under 5. \nCome for breakfast\, hear the presentation\, and stay for the WCLRA Annual Meeting beginning around 11 a.m.  The WCLRA Annual Meeting is free and open to all.  \n\nThe WCLRA business meeting will include election of Directors and consideration of the following changes to our Bylaws: \n– changes to two sections of Article IV\, Section 5. Board Meetings\, to allow use of email to notify members of the Annual Meeting or a Special Meeting\, to allow email notification of any Special Board meeting\, and to allow Directors to participate in Board meetings via telecommunications\, and\n– several smaller clarifications and simplifications in Articles III\, V\, and XI. \nA roundtable discussion period will provide an opportunity for all participants to bring lake and river observations\, issues and concerns before the Board and membership.  See you there!
